There will never cease to be a victorious group from my Ummah upon the truth, not being harmed by those who abandon them, until the Command of Allah comes

Authenticated by Imam al Albaanee in Saheeh at Tirmidhee

There will not cease to be an aided group from my Ummah upon the truth, not being harmed by those who oppose them until the Command of Allah , The Almighty and Exalted,  comes

Imam Albaanee authenticated it in Saheeh Ibn Maajah

Another wording:

There will not cease to be a victorious group from my Ummah until the Command of Allah comes while they are victorious

Saheeh Bukhari

Imam an Nawawi mentioned in his explanation of Saheeh Muslim:

“As for this group (طائفة ) then (Imam) Bukhari said:

‘They are the people of knowledge’ (this quote also found in vol. 9 of Bukhari, Book of holding fast to the Quran and Sunnah )

And (Imam) Ahmad bin Hanbal said:

‘If they are not Ahlul Hadeeth, then I don’t know who they are!’

The scholar al Qaadi Iyyaad said:

‘(Imam) Ahmad only meant Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah- they are those who believe like and take the madh-hab (way) of Ahlul Hadeeth’”

And Shaikh Fawzaan has explained the “Command of Allah” as being the wind which will take the soul of every Muslim before the Hour is established (beginning of his explanation of Aqeedatul Waasitiyyah)

Islam began as something strange…

October 20, 2010

The Prophet صلّى الله عليه و سلّم said:

Indeed Islam began as something strange and it will return to being something strange so Tooba (a tree in Paradise ) is for the strangers.” It was said: “Who are they O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “Those who are righteous (by following the Sunnah) when the people are corrupt”

Authenticated by Shaikh Albanee in as Silsilah as Saheehah

Shaikhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said (in explanation of who are the strangers):

“So Ahlus Sunnah amongst mankind are the strangers,  and the Believers from Ahlus Sunnah are the strangers,  And the people of knowledge from amongst the Believers are the strangers.  And those from Ahlus Sunnah who (have knowledge and) make distinct the Sunnah from desires and bid’ah are the strangers, and those who call to the Sunnah while being patient with the harms of those who oppose it – they are the most strange of the strangers.  But these (strangers) are in reality Allah’s people.  And they are not strange.  They are only strange compared to the majority of people – those whom Allah The Exalted and Mighty, said about them (translated):

‘And if you were to obey the majority of those on the earth, they would lead you astray from Allah’s path’ (6:116)

So those (the majority) are the strangers  to Allah and His Messenger, and His religion”

The Strong One is not the one who overpowers others

October 10, 2010

The strong one is not the one who overpowers others, the strong one is only the one who controls himself when he is angry
