Shaykh Muhammad bin Rabee’ – a Salafi scholar from the city of Madeenah, former professor at the Islamic University of Madeenah – made a brief comment regarding the Woolwich killing – he stated (see this tweet):
Islaam is free of this barbaric act. No [sound] intellect accepts this type of behaviour. This will do nothing but incite people who live in these lands to have hostility towards the Muslims. This man is either someone who adheres to the way of the Khawaarij (an extreme sect of renegades) or someone who is intoxicated by his emotions and is totally ignorant of the rulings of Islam. Islam is a religion of justice and fairness. This is nothing but a criminal act.
The statement of the Shaykh, “intoxicated by his emotions” is a nice characterization of these types of people in general because they are intoxicated by the evil misguided opinions and sentiments of ignorant pseudo-scholars such as Omar Bakri, Abu Qatada, Abu Hamzah and their likes. Indeed the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said about the Kharijites that they are “youthful of age, foolish of mind” and from the greatest of their traits is rank ignorance of Islam and its rulings. These people (and in particular their leaders who misguide them) are a scourge upon the Muslim nation and the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) informed that they will continuously appear in the Muslim nation until the Antichrist appears in the midst (see here). For this reason it is obligatory upon the Muslims to wage war against them, their leaders and figureheads, refute and demolish their beliefs, their evil ideas, their vile methodologies and to exonerate Islam from their falsehood, since cutting these people off is a desired affair in the Shari’ah of Islam (see this article).

Shaikh Ibn Uthaimeen on Interacting With Non-Muslims in Western Countries
Advice from July 28, 2000
The Shaikh stated, during a tele-link, on the 28th July 2000:
…Likewise I invite you to have respect for those people who have the right that they should be respected, from those between you and whom there is and agreement (of protection) [i.e. Non-Muslims]. For the land which you are living is such that there is an agreement between you and them. If this were not the case they would have killed you or expelled you. So preserve this agreement, and do not prove treacherous to it, since treachery is a sign of the hypocrites, and it is not from the way of the Believers.
And know that it is authentically reported from the Prophet that he said : “Whoever kills one who is under and agreement of protection will not smell the fragrance of Paradise.”
Do not be fooled by those sayings of the foolish people : those who say : ‘Those people are Non-Muslims, so their wealth is lawful for us [i.e. to misappropriate or take by way of murder and killing].’ For by Allaah – this is a lie. A lie about Allaah’s Religion, and a lie in Islamic societies.
So we may not say that it is lawful to be treacherous towards people whom we have an agreement with.
O my brothers. O youth. O Muslims. Be truthful in your buying and selling, and renting, and leasing, and in all mutual transactions. Because truthfulness is from the characteristics of the Believers, and Allaah – the Most High – has commanded truthfulness – in the saying of Allaah – the Most High –
“O you who believe – fear and keep you duty to Allaah and be with the truthful”
And the Prophet encouraged truthfulness and said : “Adhere to truthfulness, because truthfulness leads to goodness, and goodness leads to Paradise; and a person will continue to be truthful, and strive to be truthful until he will be written down with Allaah as a truthful person“.
And he warned against falsehood, and said : “Beware of falsehood, because falsehood leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. And a person will continue lying, and striving to lie until he is written down with Allaah as a great liar.”
O my brother Muslims. O youth. Be true in your sayings with your brothers, and with those Non-Muslims whom you live along with – so that you will be inviters to the Religion of Islaam, by your actions and in reality. So how many people there are who first entered into Islaam because of the behaviour and manners of the Muslims, and their truthfulness, and their being true in their dealings.

4.It has beautiful illustrations
5.My husband and children liked it
6.It has a good price (and is on sale now for $5)

The Five Major Tawaagheet
وَالطَّوَاغِيتُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَرُؤُوسُهُمْ خَمْسَةٌ :
الْأَوَّلُ : الشَّيْطَانُ الدَّاعِيُّ إِلَى عِبَادَةِ غَيْرِ اللهِ
، وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى :
{ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي ءَادَمَ أَن لاَ تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ
إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عُدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ}
الثَّانِي : الْحَاكِمُ الْجَائِرُ الْمُغَيِّرُ لِأَحْكَامِ اللهِ
، وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى :
{ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ
وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَتَحَاكَمُوا إِلَى الطَّاغُوتِ
وَقَدْ أُمِرُوا أَن يَكْفُرُوا بِهِ وَيُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلاَلاً بَعِيداً}
الثَّالِثُ : الَّذِي يَحْكُمُ بِغَيْرِ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللهُ ،
وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى :
{ وَمَن لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللهُ فَأُولِئكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ }
الرَّابِعُ : الَّذِي يَدَّعِي عِلْمَ الْغَيْبِ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ
، وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى :
{ عَالِمُ الْغيْبِ فَلاَ يُظْهِرُ عَلَى غَيْبِهِ أَحَداً
إِلاَّ مَنِ ارْتَضَى مِن رَّسُولٍ
فَإِنَّهُ يَسْلُكُ مِنْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ رَصَداً }
، وَقَالَ تَعَالَى : { وَعِنْدَهُ مَفَاتِيحُ الْغَيْبِ لاَ يَعْلَمُهَا إِلاَّ هُوَ
وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَ مَا تَسْقُطُ مِن وَّرَقَةٍ إِلَّا يَعْلَمُهَا
وَلاَ حَبَّةٍ فِي ظُلَمَاتِ الْأَرْضِ وَلاَ رَطْبٍ وَلاَ يَابِسٍ
إِلاَّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ }
الْخَامِسُ : الَّذِي يُعْبَدُ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ وَهُوَ رَاضٍ بِالْعِبَادَةِ ،
وِالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعاَلَى :
{ وَمَن يَقُلْ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّي إِلَهٌ مِن ْدُونِهِ
فَذَلِكَ نَجْزِيهِ جَهَّنَمَ كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الظَّالِمِينَ }
وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ مَا يَصِيرُ مُؤْمِنًا بِاللهِ إِلاَّ بِالْكُفْرِ بِالطَّاغُوتِ
، وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى :
{ لآ إِكَرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ
فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِنْ بِاللهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَى
لاَ انْفِصَامَ لَهَا وَاللهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ }
، الرُّشْدُ : دِينُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
وَالْغَيُّ : دِينُ أَبِي جَهْلٍ
وَالْعُرْوَةُ الْوُثْقَى : شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ
وَهِيَ مُتَضَمِّنَةٌ لِلنَّفْيِ وَالْإِثْبَاتِ
، تَنْفِي جَمِيعَ أَنْوَاعِ الْعِبَادَةِ عَنْ غَيْرِ اللهِ
، وَتُثْبِتُ جَمِيعَ أَنْوَاعِ الْعِبَادَةِ كُلِّهَا لِلَّهِ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ.

اِعْلَمْ رَحِمَكَ اللهُ تَعَالَى أَنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا فَرَضَ اللهُ
عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ الْكُفْرُ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَالْإِيمَانُ بِاللهِ ،
وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى :
{ وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَسُولاً
أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ }
فَأَمَّا صِفَةُ الْكُفْرِ بِالطَّاغُوتِ
أَنْ تَعْتَقِدَ بُطْلاَنَ عِبَادَةِ غَيْرِ اللهِ
وَتَتْرُكَهَا وَتُبْغِضَهَا وَتُكَفِّرَ أَهْلَهَا وَ تُعَادِيَهُمْ
وَأَمَّا مَعْنَى الْإِيمَانِ بِاللهِ
أَنْ تَعْتَقِدَ أَنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الْإِلَهُ الْمَعْبُودُ وَحْدَهُ دُونَ سِوَاهُ.
وَتُخْلِصَ جَمِيعَ أَنْوَاعِ الْعِبَادَةِ كُلِّهَا للهِ.
وَتَنْفِيَهَا عَنْ كُلِّ مَعْبُودٍ سِوَاهُ ،
وَتُحِبَّ أَهْلَ الْإِخْلاَصِ وَتُوَالِيَهُمْ.
وَتُبْغِضَ أَهْلَ الشِّرْكِ وَتُعَادِيَهُمْ.
وَهَذِهِ مِلَّةُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الَّتِي سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُ مَنْ رَغِبَ عَنْهَا
وَهَذِهِ هِيَ الْأُسْوَةُ الَّتِي أَخْبَرَ اللهُ بِهَا فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى :
{ قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ
وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ إِذْ قَالُوا لِقَوْمِهِمْ إِنَّا بُرَءَاؤُا مِنْكُمْ
وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ
كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاءُ أَبَداً
حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللهِ وَحْدَهُ }
وَالطَّاغُوتُ عَامٌّ فِي كُلِّ مَا عُبِدَ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ وَرَضِيَ بِالْعِبَادَةِ
مِنْ مَعْبُودٍ أَوْ مَتْبُوعٍ أَوْ مُطَاعٍ فِي غَيْرِ طَاعَةِ اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ
فَهُوَ طَاغُوتٌ

An-Nifaaq (Hypocrisy)
أَنْوَاعُ النِّفَاقِ…
النِّفَاقُ نَوْعَانِ : اعْتِقَادِيٌّ وَعَمَلِيٌّ :
النِّفَاقُ الاِعْتِقَادِيُّ : سِتَّةُ أَنْوَاعٍ
صَاحِبُهَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الدَّرْكِ الْأَسْفَلِ مِنَ النَّارِ :
الْأَوَّلُ : تَكْذِيبُ الرَّسُولِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
الثَّانِي : تَكْذِيبُ بَعْضِ مَا جَاءَ بِهِ الرَّسُولُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
الثَّالِثُ : بُغْضُ الرَّسُولِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
. الرَّابِعُ : بُغْضُ بَعْضِ مَا جَاءَ بِهِ الرَّسُولُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
. الْخَامِسُ : الْمَسَرَّةُ بِانْخِفَاضِ دِينِ الرَّسُولِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
.السَّادِسُ : الْكَرَاهِيَةُ بِانْتِصَارِ دِينِ الرَّسُولِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
النِّفَاقُ الْعَمَلِيُّ : خَمْسَةُ أَنْوَاعٍ :
وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
( آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلاَثٌ : إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ ،
وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ ، وَإِذَا ائْتُمِنَ خَانَ )
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ :
( إِذَا خَاصَمَ فَجَرَ ، وَإِذَا عَاهَدَ غَدَرَ )
